The Seventh Anniversary Tahota · Beijing was held on 4F, Block A, Ocean International Center at 13:30 on April 16, 2010 as scheduled. Lawyer Zhijun Shen, director of Tahota (Beijing) Law Firm, delivered a speech centering on feeling, thank and reflection. Firstly, he reviewed the development history of the firm in last seven years and thanked for the care of leaders of judicial departments, vigorous support of director of Tahota Law Firm and partners, efforts of peers and great kindness of clients. The achievements of Tahota today were attributed to everyone who made contributions to Tahota Beijing. The relocated Tahota (Beijing) Law Firm expanded its office area and also reflected its great-leap-forward development. Looking into the future, Tahota would face new competition and challenges.

Lawyer Zhijun Shen emphasized that the responsibilities of the partners would be further strengthened in the next seven years. Later, each lawyer spoke out freely. Lawyer Xin Na said that he felt heartfelt joy as a witness of the development of Tahota · Beijing. Lawyer Li Pu started from her own experience and introduced experience to lawyers newly joining the firm. Lawyer Shaopeng Wang, Lawyer Tao Chen, Lawyer Lizhu Wang, Lawyer Changming Jin and Lawyer Shiyuan Huang delivered speeches respectively. Lawyer Shoutai Cheng, director of Tahota Law Firm, finally summarized and recognized the achievements of Tahota · Beijing in the past seven years, pointed out that localization was an important factor for success distinguishing Tahota · Beijing from other branches, and placed high hopes on Tahota · Beijing.

The past seven years were most quickly developing seven years of China’s law service industry as well as seven years for Chinese lawyers to become mature. In the past seven years, we shared many hardships and also many honors and applause. However, all Tahota people believed that the next seven years would be undoubtedly more brilliant and inspiring.

On April 17, 2010, Tahota · Beijing brought goods and materials to Beijing Bethel Blind Children Center and visited and greeted blind children living there.

After over an hour of drive, a group of people from Tahota (Beijing) Law Firm arrived at this special social welfare institute. After Teacher Xiao introduced relevant conditions to us, we visited the classroom and accommodation rooms of the children and got to know their lives and current difficulties of the welfare institute. Later, we chatted with blind children there and helped them solve some psychological doubts to enable them to actively face the future life. We also gave them encourage and assistance. During chatting with these children, we were deeply moved by their strong will. Although they were physically handicapped, they still adopted an optimistic and positive living attitude, which also meant great encourage for lawyers of Tahota. The whole communication process presented a harmonious atmosphere. The activity smoothly ended two hours later and it was a complete success.
